Dialogs

We do:
We meet everybody for discussions; oil companies, governments, suppliers, and investors.

We do not:
We do not reveal who we talk to or what we talk about, except with explicit permission to do so.

Database Data Sourcing

We do:
We continuously collect and combine data from thousands of available sources and use these to build up, adjust, and calibrate our own outside-in perspective on the industry. Our main sources are governmental databases and archives, company presentations, professional and scientific reports, media as well as user feedback. We aim for multiple sources for each datapoint. Proprietary rules and calibration are used to fill and forecast data.

We do not:
We do not use data we are not allowed to use. We do not update our databases with confidential or exclusive information from client projects. We do not guarantee 100% correctness of data, but 100% correctness of data is what we are striving for at all times.

Consulting Services

We do:
We give independent advice to all clients, always in our client’s best interest and always adhering to the strictest standards of confidentiality. We can serve multiple clients on similar topics. We can also propose matching clients with complimentary interests.

We do not:
We do not reveal who our clients are without explicit permission to do so. We would withdraw from advisory roles if the integrity of our advice was questioned.

Transaction Services

We do:
We serve competitors but only if there are no potential conflicts.

We do not:
We never serve more than one side in a deal and withdraw from mandates if a conflict occurs.

Idea Generation

We do:
We generate ideas based on our general experience, external input, and our databases. We share ideas with our clients.

We do not:
We do not reveal sources for our ideas in general. We do not share unique ideas developed with clients.

Transparency

We do:
We deal with companies, organizations, and governments all over the world, always maintaining our client's confidentiality.

We do not:
We do not deal with companies, organizations, or governments in situations where transparency principles are violated (e.g. as expressed in the Integrity Pact by Transparency International).
