Job Title: Business Development Manager/Sales - Houston, TX

Rystad Energy is seeking a sales professional to join the Houston team. We are looking to fill a full-time sales/business development role with responsibilities of developing sales opportunities with new customers in Houston and the broader Americas. Focus is primarily on the upstream sector, but may also include midstream related companies.

Candidates should have:

  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience
  • Graduate degree required, post graduate desirable
  • Highly desirable to have a working knowledge of the shale activity in North America and selling in to E&P and/or service companies with activities in the shale space
  • Have the ability to establish meetings with multiple Energy related contacts including some or all of the following
    • Exploration and Production companies
    • oilfield service companies
    • financial companies (energy)
  • Highly desirable to have prior experience working in the Energy sector (upstream, midstream, consulting, service company, data provider etc.)
  • Desirable to have awareness of macro-level energy forecasting or related activities
  • Ability to be self-motivated and independent
  • Occasional national and international travel is expected

Package will include salary base plus commission, including benefits (health, 401k)
