The Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and creative Marketing Manager to join our Singapore office supporting the APAC region. The candidate will be tasked with developing and executing regional marketing plans and activities for a suite of products and marketing assets to a diverse group of prospects and clients in the energy industry.  The role holder will liaise with our corporate Marketing team and Product Managers based primarily at headquarters.  The role will jointly report into the Global Marketing Head in Oslo and into the Regional MD for APAC.

Tasks

Responsible for daily, predominantly operational activities, such as:

  • Developing, implementing and executing our APAC marketing plan
  • Working with Head of Marketing and Sales Leaders to establish a plan for each year and alignment on priorities
  • Developing marketing campaigns to individual client segments for identified products
  • Defining strategies, plans and objectives for each campaign to market growth
  • Aligning regional members of team and ensuring support and communication with head office
  • Ensuring corporate guidelines and marketing policies are met within all offices of the regions, in close connection with head office
  • Own the delivery of our regional events (info sessions, breakfast briefings, networking events), assist in the delivery of webinars and the Rystad Energy Annual Summit as well as planning and executing of exhibitions
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments and coordinating mailing lists
  • Assisting in editing of content, newsletters, website, client portal and social media
  • Maintain promotional material updated and stocked
  • Support ROI studies for each APAC campaign

Experience & Skills

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • University degree (Master/Bachelor) in marketing or communication (or equivalent)
  • Experience with event management, email and webinar campaigns
  • Experience and knowledge from the oil & gas or wider energy industry is a plus
  • Knowledge about marketing automation software, graphic design software and/or programming is a plus
  • Proactive & independent
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness and a creative mindset
  • Open-minded and creative
  • Can work in a hectic environment and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus

 

The position is located at our Singapore branch. The candidate will report both to the Head of Marketing & Communications and Head of APAC. Travelling will be required.
