Job Duties

Market research and provide product development, and consulting with a primary focus on North American oilfield services and secondary focus on global unconventional oil and gas; serve as the lead researcher in the pressure pumping space and spend a majority of time on research and product development, with consulting and business development also forming part of the role; develop business objectives and strategic direction; translate client’s strategic thinking into actionable goals; gather, classify, analyze and synthesize information coming from multiple sources; and assist with business development activities.



  • Bachelor’s, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Mathematics or Business
  • 3-5(2+ with Master’s degree) years of work experience in North American shale oil and gas resource development with a preference for field engineers


Required Skills

  • Experience developing North American unconventional shale reservoirs, preferably in drilling or completions
  • Cultivating and maintaining a network of primary intelligence sources in key markets in the oil and gas industry, and synthesizing information with data and secondary research
  • Business development, including the ability to present research and consulting work at client sites


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with statistical analytics, including regression analysis, excel modelling, data analysis, and trends identification
  • Experience working on consulting projects focused on the oil and gas industry, including due diligence, strategy, and market sizing projects
