Petter leads Rystad Energy’s Carbon Markets research, focusing on the voluntary carbon market and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. His work centers on assessing the role of carbon markets in global decarbonization strategies, providing actionable insights for governments, corporates, and investors. Before joining Rystad Energy, Petter worked for Eni in Washington, D.C., focusing on international energy policy and markets. He holds a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
