Speaking session: How solar strategies are shifting across market maturity
Global solar markets are diverging in their development paths. Emerging markets offer significant opportunities for new solar capacity, driven by rising electricity demand and relatively unconstrained daytime grids. In contrast, mature markets are experiencing higher levels of curtailment and declining capture rates as the share of solar generation in the electricity mix increases. This presentation examines how deployment strategies and policy approaches differ across stages of market maturity and corresponding changes in project economics.
