Håvar Blakset

Håvar joined Rystad Energy in 2014 and is heading up the E&P consultancy in Rystad Energy. He is a certified financial analyst and holds a Master in Finance and higher level financial degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NSEBA/NHH). Håvar's areas of expertise include macro fundamentals, corporate finance, business development, valuation, due diligence, M&A and strategy consultancy. He has 17 years of experience from strategy consultancy and investment banking within the oil and gas industry and has led numerous strategy, due diligence and M&A projects within the oil&gas area. Håvar has also been a crucial part of building up Rystad`s businesses in New York as the head of the New York office. He previously worked as investment banker and head of oil&gas at SpareBank1 Markets Corporate Finance. He also worked at R.S. Platou Shipbrokers, PetroAdvisor and E&Y Advisory as a manager and senior investment advisor.
