James Ley
Senior Vice President of Metals and Materials
James Ley is a Senior Vice President in Rystad Energy’s Metals and Materials team, offering extensive experience within global energy metals markets. James has worked for the Fastmarkets MB research team since 2013 and ran the group’s energy steel tube and pipe practice.
Prior to this, James spent six years working for Hatch Beddows Strategy Consulting, where he led numerous consultancy projects specifically on energy metals markets, focusing primarily on the tube and pipe markets. James started his professional career at Metal Bulletin Research (now Fastmarkets), where he was the Steel Research Manager. At MBR, James specialized in developing the group’s seamless and welded steel tube and pipe monthly reports.
