Amar Dash

Amar Dash joined Rystad Energy as CFO in September 2019 and has successfully built up a complete infrastructure of financial reporting processes and systems for our fast-growing company. As well as providing monthly reports on financial performance to group, regional and country management, Amar manages our working capital and liquidity positions and is a key member of Rystad Energy’s executive team. Amar is a UK qualified chartered accountant and worked for KPMG in London, Frankfurt and Oslo for 12 years before becoming CFO of Norman Data Defense Systems ASA, an Oslo stock-exchange listed anti-virus software group, and then Scandpower Petroleum Technology AS, a private-equity owned group of companies developing and selling software solutions and consulting services to the petroleum industry. Over the next 12 years, Amar worked as an independent consultant helping companies as diverse as Statkraft, Nemko, Elis (formerly Berendsen), B2Holding and SN Power improve and upgrade their group financial reporting processes and systems. Amar has a degree in Geography from Cambridge University, is a British citizen and has lived in Norway since 1994.
