Mukesh Sahdev

Mukesh Sahdev is SVP and Head of Rystad Energy’s Oil Trading/Downstream Solution team. Mukesh has 30 years of experience across the oil value chain, with core expertise in downstream refining and oil chemical integration. Prior to joining Rystad Energy in 2021, he led the Global Shell Trading Analysis for six years, based in Houston, holding global leadership roles in consulting, strategy, and trading. Mukesh spent 13 years with AspenTech and Indian Oil Corporation covering refining operations/optimization and downstream supply chain consulting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from India and an MBA – Finance from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He also holds a Diploma in Data Science from the University of Austin, Texas, US.
